Scenes From PS 107's Scholastic Book Fair 2008

PS 107's Scholastic Book Fair benefits the school community in a several ways. It's a successful fundraiser that keeps our kids enjoying books and the world of wonder books bring to them. It's the perfect combination. Of course, not accomplished without the hard work of our PTA volunteers. See for yourself below.

THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR was a HUGE success!!  We broke last year's record and unofficially sold over $10,000.  Thank you to everyone who came to the fair and bought books.  It was so great to see the energy and excitement that the students, faculty, staff and parents brought to the fair.  A very special thanks goes to the great book fair volunteers who made it all happen, from set-up to break down and all the selling in between.  You are a fantastic crew and we broke the record together!  Therefore I would like say thank you to: Martha Baez, Katherine Huber, Cindy Trewin, Victoria Guisinger, Carol Schweitzer, Sally Gosper, Rebecca Sroge, Catherine Teegarden, Judy Kenny, Marian Nadboy, Officer Sharon Hosannah, Shirley Hinton, Michelle Villa, Michele Amoroso, Stephanie Thompson, Helen Proffit, Terry Gurl and Mindy Phillips.   Way to go, Ladies!  And a very special thank you to Hilly Schneider, webmaster extraordinaire, who put up a Scholastic Book Fair page on the PS 107 website before the fair even ended.  --Mary Vines
