LINKS

This section is maintained by Library Committee volunteers.  It is intended as a highly selective collection of educational websites, organized by subject areas that directly align with the school curriculum.  These websites have been selected both for their educational value and kid appeal (e.g. jump-in interaction, reading level, graphics appeal, etc.).  They are low on commercial advertisements, high in quality, and almost always created specifically for children and their educators.  When possible, websites created by local museums or educational organizations are featured to encourage both online and in-person exploration.

Please check back for new topics and updated pages.  If you have a website to suggest for consideration, please e-mail your suggestions to Jill Fruchter at jfruchter@earthlink.net.  Please include a topic heading and annotation for the website with your submission.

Special thanks to Jill Fruchter and Heather Damon and Tracy Peel for their hard work researching these resources.
